UofG's new Head of Security

Meet the University's new Head of Security and Operational Support.
The University of Glasgow has a new Head of Security and Operational Support. Gary Stephen has already started work at the University and succeeds Gordon Mackenzie.
Gary told Campus e-News: "I am a former police officer and later joined Mitie Total Security Management as their Senior Operations Manager for Scotland.
"I led a team that manged all "blue chip" contracts including Critical Infrastructure sites including Data Centres and MOD properties. I recently held the role of Security/Operations Manager for a property development company and help project manage the security systems for Centre for the Protection of National Infrastucture sites and commercial new-build properties.
"I am looking forward to a new challenge and incorporating the university's strategy and values into the department."
