Working with industry - KTP drop in event - 2 Dec

Published: 29 November 2016

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships are a great way of building or extending the relationship between an academic and an external partner. Find out more by coming along to one of our drop in events.

A Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) is a 1-3 year funding award from Innovate UK, that enables a researcher to transfer knowledge from their group into a non academic organisation, typically a company, with the aim of helping that business improve competitiveness and productivity.

A series of breakfast and lunch drop in events has been planned on the Gilmorehill campus, to help you learn more about KTP. At these informal sessions you can:

  • find out if KTP is suitable for you
  • hear from others who have held KTPs
  • learn about the support available in developing proposals

First drop in event

Date: Friday 2nd December 2016

Venue: Kelvin Room, 11 The Square, Gilmorehill
