Slovak President visits

The University played host to the President of Slovak Republic yesterday. President Andrej Kiska had been invited by the Glasgow Slovak and Czech Society.

The University played host to the President of Slovak Republic yesterday (Monday 25 January). President Andrej Kiska had been invited by the Glasgow Slovak and Czech Society.

President Kiska was welcomed by the Principal, Professor Anton Muscatelli and also by Richard Hoda, the President of the Glasgow Slovak and Czech Society which had originally extended the invitation.

The audience in the Senate Room enjoyed a short address by President Kiska, followed by a question and answer session.
