Instructions for the printers in the Library and Round Reading Room

Wake up printer and log in

  1. If the printer's touchscreen is off, press the grey power button to wake it up
  2. Swipe your campus card over the Pull Print sticker

Print in mono (black & white)

  1. Print your document(s) to the PULLPRINT queue
  2. Go to ANY printer on ANY floor
  3. If the printer's touchscreen is off, press the grey power button to wake it up
  4. Swipe your campus card over the Pull Print sticker
  5. Tap 'Pull Print' then 'Print All'  OR  select your print jobs one at a time and tap 'Print'
  6. Remember to tap 'Log out' when you are finished

PLEASE NOTE: If your document contains a mix of colour and black & white pages and you collect it from a colour printer, ALL pages will be charged as colour. To avoid this, print colour pages separately from black & white pages. (A system upgrade is expected that will remove the need to do this.) If in doubt, use a black & white printer - these are identified by a black & white Pull Print sticker.

Printing tips

  • The cost of the job is displayed on the screen so you can check this before you print
  • If a printer is not working, use a different printer to collect your job
  • If you want to print double-sided, or have the printer staple your document, set these options in the Finishing tab when you send your document to print
