Accessing Agresso

To access Agresso, you should first have applied for access and have been given a valid user ID.
Once you have been on a training course you will be given your login details and instructions. Please see below instructions on how to access Agresso via the Web Version (Front Office) or Client Version (Back Office)

Via Agresso Web (Front Office) - https://agrweb.mis.gla.ac.uk/Agresso/

To use the Agresso Web functionality, the following steps should be followed:

A. Click on the link below to be taken to the Agresso website:
https://agrweb.mis.gla.ac.uk/Agresso/

B. Install the web icon on your desktop

To install the web icon on your desktop:

  1. Right-click somewhere on your desktop
  2. Select new shortcut
  3. When asked for the location of the item, enter: https://agrweb.mis.gla.ac.uk/Agresso
    (you can copy this location from this web page)
  4. Name the shortcut when prompted (i.e. Agresso web)

Web Browse recommendations (August 2021):

  • The Agresso Support desk recommends using at least (Google Chrome - 30.0.1599/Safari 7.0) but depending on the release time of the browser and the version of Agresso it may mean certain options are not available and we will recommend you to try the same process using at least Internet Explorer 11 or Mozilla Firefox
  • Depending on our browser you may need to allow pop-ups for the Agresso Web version and the E-Procurement Marketplace.
  • For some browsers where a blank page is shown when you log into the Agresso Webpage please check the compatibility settings on your browser.

Install the Agresso Icon (back-office) on your University desktop PC/Laptop

To install the Agresso Icon (back-office) on your University desktop PC:

  1. Right-click somewhere on your desktop
  2. Select new shortcut
  3. When asked for location of the item, enter: \\agresso1.mis.gla.ac.uk\agrLIVE\Bin\Agresso.exe
    (you can copy this location from this web page)
  4. Name the shortcut when prompted (i.e. Agresso back-office)
  5. If prompted for login details enter the following;
    Username: corsys\finsup
    Password: agresso5.5 - Tick the option to remember details
  6. Once Agresso has been installed enter your Agresso login details:
    GUID: your GUID
    Client: P1
    Password: your GUID password
