We work in partnership with Widening Participation and our external partners to ensure that all our services are relevant and inclusive for all students. We also recongise that care experienced and estranged students often bring unique challenges and opportunities to their career planning, and so we have developed additional targeted support and resources to address this.
Online Event: How to Build Your Network as a Care Experienced or Estranged Student.
Not sure how to build a professional network, or worried that you don’t have the right connections? This practical online session will help you explore how professional networks can support your career development, job exploration and access to opportunities. You’ll identify people, communities and platforms that could help you build your network, learn practical approaches to starting and developing professional conversations, and can practise introducing yourself and asking questions in a supportive setting.
