Information for students

The International Student Support team provide a dedicated advisory service for international students.  We offer information and advice on a range of areas including:

  • applying for a visa to study at UoG (Student and Standard Visitor) and Graduate Visas
  • Student and Graduate Dependant visas
  • practical issues such as how to register with an NHS GP or open a UK bank account
  • settling into life in Glasgow / Scottish culture

We offer information and advice to students via email and 1-2-1 appointments (e.g. for visa application checks).

We also organise the University's International Student Orientation programmes, cultural events, information sessions and coordinate events for students with families.
