At this exclusive event, Dr Donal Bateson, Hunterian Reader in Numismatics, will welcome Friends to the new Numismatics Library at Kelvin Hall, a high security area with limited access. This offers a rare chance to see how a major international numismatics collection operates and to see, and handle, some of The Hunterian’s treasures, ranging from Greek and Roman coins to a Victoria Cross and City of Glasgow banknotes.
