About the Artists

Three women, the resarchers and artist collaborating in this project, stand in front of their gallery installation.  Behind them, you can see the reddish gallery wall through the plastic sheeting which forms the edge of their installation.

Madeleine Campbell, Hunterian Associate, is a Canadian bilingual who lived in France for many years. Her creative interests include francophone literature, surrealism, ekphrastic and found poetry. She is currently researching  translation as performance at Glasgow University. More about Madeleine's work

Bethan Parkes, Hunterian Associate, is currently undertaking a creative practice PhD in Sonic Arts at the University of Glasgow, researching ecological approaches to spatiality in acousmatic composition.  www.soundcloud.com/bethanparkes

Birthe Jorgensen stands in front of the John Runciman painting, ‌Birthe Jorgensen is studying for a Masters of Letters, Sculpture, at Glasgow School of Art.
