On this week's issue, we consider some key environmental topics, in anticipation of COP26's commencement on Monday.

Graeme Roy speaks to Dr Henry Lovat and Dr Gigi Jokubauskaite on issues around Climate Law and Governance, ahead of their Climate Law and Governance Day event on Friday 5 November.

Kezia Dugdale talks to Professor John Crawford about global soil health in the context of climate change. 

In the first of a three-part series, we also hear from experts at Citizens Advice Bureau Scotland about the prospects of low-income families over the coming winter with the increased cost of living. On this episode we speak to its Chair, Rory Mair.
