Draft Gaelic Language Plan 2027-2032
We are seeking your views on our draft Gaelic Language Plan.
Our draft Plan sets out the University's proposed strategic aims and commitments for Gaelic for the next five-year period. We want to make sure that our plan accurately reflects the priorities of our staff, students and local community.
We are, therefore, running a public consultation exercise on our draft Gaelic Language Plan and seeking your views on the content and structure of the new Plan.

Buileachadh agus Sgrùdadh
Is e Comataidh na Gàidhlig a bhios a’ stiùireadh lìbhrigeadh air Plana Gàidhlig Oilthigh Ghlaschu. Air a’ chomataidh, bidh luchd-obrach, a tha air an taghadh mar thoradh air an eòlas, sgilean agus cumhachdan co-dhùnaidh ro-innealchdail taobh a-staigh an Oilthighe, a bheir comhairle air lìbhrigeadh a’ Phlana. Bidh uallach buileachaidh latha-gu-latha air ar Manaidsear Leasachaidh na Gàidhlig.

Gaelic Language Plan 2024-2027
Within our Gaelic Language Plan 2024-2027, you will find a list of our ambitions, priorities, commitments, and Corporate Service Aims to develop Gaelic over the next three years.
Through this plan, we hope to demonstrate how we will support and share the responsibility to develop Gaelic through establishing new networks, as well as supporting those that are well-established, and by reaching out to work with Gaelic communities both physical and online.

University of Glasgow Gaelic Language Plan 2024-2027
Implementation and Monitoring
Comataidh na Gàidhlig will oversee delivery of the University of Glasgow’s Gaelic Plan. The Comataidh will comprise of staff selected for their knowledge, skills and strategic decision-making powers within the University who will advise on plan delivery. The Gaelic Development Manager will have responsibility for the day-to-day implementation of the Plan.
