The Chinese Government Scholarships scheme is now closed for applications for the 2023/2024 academic year.

The applications for academic year 2024/2025 are due to open again in November 2023 with an expected deadline in February 2024.

To enable the Confucius Institute at the University of Glasgow to submit a letter of recommendation for you, scanned copies of your supporting documents should also be emailed to us at: confucius-enquiries@glasgow.ac.uk at least three working days before the application deadline.

You can apply for admission offers at your preferred host institution in China before you secure an offer of scholarship, and this might increase your chance of winning the scholarship.

You can search the wide variety of programs offered by the Chinese Universities, which could enrol students with the Scholarship, at: www.campuschina.org.
