The University of Glasgow’s Principal and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sir Anton Muscatelli, welcomed guests to the culmination of the University's Tercentenary Week activities to commemorate the 300th birthday of Adam Smith.

Speaking at the Adam Smith Gala Dinner event on 10 June, Professor Sir Anton discussed Smith’s life and his experience at the University as both a student and professor.

As a civic University, we are committed to continuing to make a positive impact and build on the work of people like Adam Smith."
