Graduation ceremony tickets

Main campus

Guest tickets

We are pleased to announce that we are able to provide 2 guest tickets in Bute Hall for everyone who is attending their graduation ceremony in winter 2021.  Graduands do not need a ticket for themselves.

The ceremony will also be broadcast live in the University Chapel. Tickets for this venue will be allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis so please tell us if you require tickets when you attend Registration in Hunter Halls.

Each ceremony will be broadcast live online, enabling your guests to watch from anywhere in the world and join in the celebrations on the day.

Guests watching the live broadcast are assured of an excellent view of the ceremony, including a close-up view of each individual graduand as they are presented.

Collecting tickets

Guest tickets for Bute Hall will be collected when you register on the day of your ceremony.  Tickets for the live-broadcast in the Chapel will also be available at this point.

The University does not accept liability for any actual or alleged loss that may result in the event that extra tickets are unavailable and does not accept responsibility to replace lost, damaged or stolen tickets.

Changes to arrangements

Please note graduation arrangements may be subject to change, if unforeseen circumstances, including latest guidance from the Scottish Government on COVID19, require the University to make changes.

Graduation ceremony postponement
