The Independent Commission for Aid Impact (ICAI), which scrutinises UK aid spending, recently published its review of UK aid to agriculture in a time of climate change. While this found many positive examples of UK aid to agriculture through delivery programmes, research and investments, it warned of a lack of coherence in the overall approach and set out why a focus on tackling climate change must be at the heart of the UK's work.

ICAI is partnering with the University of Glasgow and Farm Africa for this learning event to discuss the report's findings, bringing together government officials with civil society, the private sector and academic experts in agriculture and development. The discussion will explore the direction of travel for UK aid to agriculture and agricultural research against the backdrop of a changing climate, to help inform future strategic thinking and policymaking.

Refreshments will be served. Attend in-person or online.
