Security & SafeZone App
Experiencing an emergency? You can contact the Security team for assistance by phoning 0141 330 4444 (Gilmorhill Campus) or 0141 330 2222 (Garscube Campus).
Alternatively, you can raise an alert via the SafeZone App.
The SafeZone App is a free, GDPR-compliant safety app designed to ensure staff and students feel safe throughout their time at UofG.
It is monitored for alerts 24/7 by the Security team, and can assist during emergencies on campus, in halls and even abroad.
SafeZone is designed to be used by everyone at the University, whether staff or students - our Security Team are always happy to help, so don’t be afraid to use it!
Incident Reporting
How to deal with an incident? The first step is reporting it to ensure it is brought to our attention and appropriately investigated. This is so it we can put the appropriate control measures in place to prevent any future incidents.
The University's incident reporting form is readily available for documenting both accidents and near misses, ensuring that every incident is reported and investigated thoroughly. We encourage everyone to promptly report any incidents they may witness or experience, as this information is invaluable for identifying potential hazards and implementing preventive measures.
