MVLS "Collaboration for Innovation" Industry Day 2018

MVLS was delighted to welcome key sector players to the "Collaboration for Innovation" Industry Day on the 5th June 2018.

The College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences was delighted to welcome key life sciences sector players to its “Collaboration for Innovation” Industry Day at Queen Elizabeth Teaching and Learning Centre on 5th June 2018.

The conference focused on the UK Government’s Industrial Strategy and how academia, the NHS and industry can align with government priorities and funding to deliver research excellence and economic impact.

Dr Ken Sutherland, President of Canon Medical commented:  “The Life Sciences sector in Scotland is thriving and the event fosters collaborations that will drive future innovation.”

Prof George Baillie, MVLS Dean of Graduate Studies said: “MVLS has excellent partnerships with industry and it is important for us to bridge the gap between university education and the skills needed to become a valuable resource for life sciences employers.”
