On a surprisingly dry November evening in a Glasgow city centre restaurant 28 out of just over a hundred original matriculants to the Glasgow University LL.B. course, reunited to celebrate 50 years since first meeting. There had been one prior reunion at the 40 year mark and although the number attending this year was slightly down on the number attending previously, the organisers were delighted with the turn out which included some who had not been able to attend the previous reunion.

As can be seen from the attached photographs the informal setting led to a convivial evening of catching up and reminiscing. The evening was sufficiently successful that there seems to be a demand for a further event in perhaps 5 years time. As at the previous reunion, during the course of the conviviality there was still time to raise several hundred pounds (and rising) for a good cause, on this occasion, Alzheimer’s Research.
