It is with the greatest sadness that we learned of the untimely death on 1 June 2015 of our former Stevenson Lecturer Charles Kennedy.
It is with the greatest sadness that we learned of the untimely death on 1 June 2015 of our former Stevenson Lecturer Charles Kennedy. He was a former Glasgow student and twice appointed student rector (2009 – 2014). He was a redoubtable parliamentarian and public speaker who led his party, and served his constituents and Glasgow students with distinction. He was a man of great humanity and compassion who will always be remembered by friends and colleagues at Glasgow University with admiration and affection.
