"I grew up in Gourock. The river was and is a mighty presence, changing all the time & staying the same. Always reliable & fascinating. I love watching it and it’s never-ending travels. I imagine all the rivers on the planet meeting up and swirling about exchanging news before heading off again.
That’s why I think there is already a solidarity between river communities. We humans should work on being more like our rivers".
