I graduated with an MA in Politics with Quantitative Methods in 2019, and my time at the Q-Step Centre was truly formative. The programme equipped me with essential 21st-century skills, particularly in data literacy and basic coding, which have been invaluable in both academic and professional settings.

What sets Q-Step apart is its commitment to making quantitative methods accessible, taking the anxiety out of numeracy, and focusing on practical, hands-on skills for data analysis and interpretation. A particular highlight for me was the Research Design course in Year 3, which provided a strong foundation for structuring my dissertation in Year 4.

Since graduating, the quantitative training I received has been instrumental in my career, helping me secure a PhD fellowship in Belgium, a Graduate Teaching Assistant position at Glasgow, and even occasional freelance data work. I highly recommend Q-Step to anyone looking to build strong analytical skills for research and beyond.
