Professor Chris Carman is delighted to share the official announcement that Professor Sergi Pardos-Prado has been appointed to the UK Government’s Migration Advisory Committee.
According to its website, ‘The Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) is an independent, non-statutory, non-time limited, non-departmental public body that advises the government on migration issues.’
Not only are we are really pleased for Sergi, but his appointment further helps to ensure that the Univerity of Glasgow’s expertise in immigration/migrations research is recognised at the Government’s highest levels.
