Student Experience Forum Student Welcome 27 October 2020

We were pleased to welcome 50 students and staff to our first STEF event

The School's Student Experience Forum (STEF) was formed at the end of 2019 to support the School's student societies and help build a stronger student-staff community. Plans were underway to hold an event in March 2020 but, unfortunately, the current COVID-19 situation prevented that from taking place. We were delighted to hold our first STEF event online on Tuesday 27 October.

50 students and staff members came together to hear from our Central & East European, Politics, Q-Step, Social & Public Policy, Sociology, and Strategy & Security societies. The group then broke into teams to take part in a virtual quiz, hosted by Dr Craig Gurney. Four rounds of 10 questions, each with a treasure hunt quest, led to 'Top Marx' being crowned the winning team.

It was a fun-filled, informative evening, and a great chance for our students to meet new people. We hope to host another similar event next year.
