Join us for a day of discussions on elections, public opinion, and parties at the EPOP Research Cluster Workshops on June 6th, 2025!

It is a pleasure to invite you to a one-day workshop on 6th June, launching the new research cluster "Elections, Public Opinion, and Parties" (EPOP). The event will take place in the Gilbert Scott Building, room 256 FORE HALL.

The event will feature nine presentations by colleagues from across the Division of Political and International Studies. We are particularly pleased to welcome three external speakers - Maria Sobolewska (University of Manchester), Grigore Pop-Eleches (Princeton University), and Nick Vivyan (Durham University) - as well as two colleagues from the University of Strathclyde, Stefanie Reher and Bob Mattes.

We will discuss cutting-edge research on racism, political behaviour, propaganda and social media, support for Ukraine, political nostalgia, and cultural clashes.

The event is generously funded by the "Political and International Studies" Division Fund.
