Research & Development

The partnership aims to foster and encourage research and development (R&D) aligned to current and future needs for LIGO India, synergistic and linked to the international field of gravitational wave astronomy. The training of researchers is supported both through exchange visits to the UK, alongside the establishment of new research facilities/capabilities locally in India.
