Research interests

Russian Programme Director

Research interests:

19th- and 20th-century Russian literature and culture, comparative literature (Russian/Hispanic), Romanian language and literature, gender studies, Russian women's studies and literature.

Currently working on the theatre of Chekhov in Spain, translation, reception and performance. Future research will concentrate on the works of Chekhov more widely in the Hispanic World, including Portugal and Brazil.
