  • Dietary intervention in a variety of research settings, for individuals, families and groups using novel approaches to encourage dietary change
  • Dietary assessment using validated retrospective and prospective methods
  • Body composition assessment using appropriate field methods and anthropometry and validation methods, such as underwater weighing, deuterium dilation, MRI and CT scanning, DEXA
  • Clinical trials for diet, exercise and drugs (phase 2 and 3)
  • Production and evaluation of Health Promotion Resources
  • Metabolic Rate measurement. Biochemical analyses, as metabolic and CVD risk markers, and as biomarkers for dietary intakes
