Clinical Physics
We are a partnership established in 1973, between the NHS and a university component for teaching and research with bases throughout the West of Scotland. Our MSc is IPEM accredited, leading to state registration as a clinical scientist if combined with IPEM training.
We have several functions:
provision of facilities and expertise for health care in the West of Scotland
- training in medical physics
- involvement in multidisciplinary research by applying physics and technology to advance medical knowledge.
