Dr Viv Binnie, Deputy Director of Dental Education at the Dental School, has recently been successful in obtaining a Senior Fellowship in University of Glasgow’s ‘ Rewarding Excellence in Teaching’ scheme, which also confers a Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.
Dr Viv Binnie, Deputy Director of Dental Education at the Dental School, has recently been successful in obtaining a Senior Fellowship in University of Glasgow’s ‘ Rewarding Excellence in Teaching’ scheme, which also confers a Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.
Viv said: “Applying for this Fellowship has given me the chance to reflect on my contribution to the dental curriculum in various areas, such as peer assisted learning and communication. You have to align what you do to the UK Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF). While it was a lot of work, it has ultimately been very rewarding”.
