Information for current students and staff

To celebrate Jamie Gabe’s (aka C*-Jamie) time in Glasgow the "Analysis burrito challenge" took place on Friday 22nd March. Jamie, Christian Voigt, Mike Whittaker and Joachim Zacharias attempted to eat 1.5kg burritos in 10 minutes. Stuart White was more restrained, although some suggested scared, taking a spectator approach.

Joachim was the first to finish, demolishing his burrito with ruthless efficiency. Jamie was next, and the final success was achieved by Christian with just two seconds to spare. Mike was quickly behind the clock and realised that failure was inevitable.

Head of Mathematics, Prof Tara Brendle, was not impressed, saying "The real challenge is to find a burrito in the UK worth eating".
