Q: How can I afford to go abroad? Will I have to pay fees?
A: No. If you study abroad on exchange you will continue to get any grant for which you are eligible from the Student Awards Agency Scotland and you will not need to pay any fees to the "host" institution - the university you will be visiting. You will probably also be eligible for a small extra grant, to help pay the extra expenses of living in a foreign country.
