MSP Jamie Hepburn visits RACE

Scottish Government Minister for HE and FE, Youth Employment & Training Jamie Hepburn paid a visit to the Sir Graeme Davies Building on Thursday, 21 October to tour our Research into Inflammatory Arthritis Centre (RACE).

Jamie Hepburn stood outside the SGDB with Professor Carl Goodyear, Professor Stefan Siebert, Caroline Aylott, Alan McGinley, and Angela Donaldson-Bruce.

Scottish Government Minister for HE and FE, Youth Employment & Training Jamie Hepburn attended the Sir Graeme Davies Building on Thursday, 21 October to visit our Versus Arthritis Research into Inflammatory Arthritis Centre (RACE).

The MSP for Cumbernauld and Kilsyth was taken on a lab tour of level 4 led by Professor Carl Goodyear and Professor Stefan Siebert on behalf of RACE.  

Attending from Versus Arthritis was Caroline Aylott (Head of Research Delivery), Alan McGinley (Policy and Engagement Manager, Scotland), and Angela Donaldson-Bruce (Nation Director, Scotland). 

Over the course of his stay, Mr Hepburn discussed science careers, arthritis-related research and its importance to patients, and research into auto-immune diseases and COVID-19.
