EQUIPMENT

We have a Zeiss Elyra PS.1 super-resolution microscope - an inverted microscope equipped for multiple parameter image acquisition (blue, green, red and far-red channels) and has a motorized stage for z-stack acquisition and tile scanning. 

It is capable of Structured Illumination Microscopy (3D-SIM) – resolution around 110nm – and Stochastic Localisation Microscopy (STORM), with resolution around 25nm.

We also use workstations that allow image analysis, 3D reconstruction, and modelling with Imaris software.
