Dr Maria Mili
- Lecturer in Ancient History and Culture (Classics)
My research focusses on Ancient Greek religion and regional Greek histories. I am particularly interested in the interaction of Greeks’ religious beliefs and practices with other aspects of their lives, such as political and social organization, the production and consumption of material culture and the development of rational enquiry.
I am happy to supervise any topic on Greek religion, as well as topics on Greek oligarchies, federals states, and regional Greek histories.
At honours level I am teaching the course Athenian Democracy: model or mob rule?
