Nottingham Looked After Children CAMHS. Our specialist service is jointly commissioned with Nottingham City Council and Nottinghamshire Healthcare Trust. We support and maintain the emotional and mental health needs of children in care in the Nottingham City area, recognising the importance of working with children's networks to promote placement stability. The team can:
- Assess mental health needs
- Offer regular network consultation
- Provide therapeutic intervention
- Training and psychoeducation to increase resilience through building skills and knowledge.
The team compromises of a Team Manager and specialist social workers, together with psychiatry, psychology, psychotherapy, SALT (Speech and Language Therapy) and nursing input provided by Nottingham City Healthcare Foundation Trust.
