Adoption Connects is a regional adoption agency for Central Bedfordshire Council and Milton Keynes Council.
Adoption Connects was established in April 2019 and is partner service for both Central Bedfordshire Council and Milton Keynes Council.
They say: "We are a small service with a big heart and are here to support children and families of Central Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes to achieve good outcomes without delay".
They provide post adoption support to families in this area and it is these families who have been approached for the trial, which includes:
- Supporting prospective adopters along their adoption journey from inquiry to approval and beyond.
- Providing training, advice and guidance to prospective and approved adopters.
- Supporting permanence and family finding for looked after children.
- Providing support to adopters post adoption.
