International multimorbidity

Special Interest Group (SIG) meeting on multimorbidity research took place on 21st November 2022 at the North American Primary Care Conference (NAPCRG 2022) in Phoenix, Arizona. This was the 50th annual meeting for NAPCRG and first in person conference since the pandemic. The SIG meeting had participants from the U.S., Canada, the U.K, and Ireland. The group had a stimulating discussion on various topics related to multimorbidity research, such as, impact of health inequalities, early diagnosis and identification of multimorbidity, importance of lifestyle factors and healthy behaviour, and potential role of digital health in management of multimorbidity. The group felt that there were a lot of synergies in the work which was discussed and some scope for international collaboration. The International Research Community on Multimorbidity is keen to provide a space for networking, dialogue and collaboration to all multimorbidity researchers.
