Prestigious fellowships awarded to IHW researchers

Two members of IHW have been awarded prestigious fellowships to develop their work in the areas of mental health and multimorbidity

Two members of IHW have been awarded prestigious fellowships to develop their work in important areas of research:

  • Laura Lyall, Mental Health and Wellbeing, has been awarded a RCPEdin JMAS Sim Fellowship, plus a University of Glasgow LKAS Fellowship, to investigate genetics and neuroimaging of sleep and circadian function in depression and cardiovascular disease, with UK Biobank data.
  • Marianne McCallum, General Practice and Primary Care, has been awarded a CSO fellowship and will be exploring how individual and community factors interact to influence patient capacity to manage multimorbidity in the context of socio-economic deprivation.
