EMPOWER logoEMPOWER is an international feasibility study investigating digital technology to detect and prevent relapse in psychosis in the UK and Australia.

The study, which is led by the Institute of Health and Wellbeing’s Professor Andrew Gumley, supports people with experiences of psychosis to monitor their wellbeing and is designed to identify and respond to potential early signs of relapse.

The study team maintains a website which includes articles from Professor Hamish McLeod on the digital explosion and its implications for mental health care and support and digital privacy (and the zombie apocalypse!)

We also feature updates on the progress of the study and other news including pieces by research nurse Alison Wilson Kay, research assistant Helen Whitehill and peer support worker Jayne Artis.

The EMPOWER team would love to hear your feedback and we are always looking to build collaborations with university colleagues.
