Lay steering group members wanted for national research summary group

Published: 15 April 2024

Our group collate research to produce summaries. These summaries are used for guidelines and policy. Deadline 31st May 2024

We are looking for people to help us produce summaries of research on various healthcare topics. Our plan is to have a panel of people from differing backgrounds. We will meet with the panel and share with them updates on our current and future reviews. We are looking for feedback from the group, drawing on their differing experiences. We anticipate four meetings a year but attending every meeting is not mandatory. Meetings will be virtual (on video call).

Participation opportunities:

We are keen to have people from different backgrounds in our lay group. No experience is necessary, we will provide any training needed. We want to form a lay steering group who can advise us on our reviews and our processes.

You will learn about why research matters and influence world-class research, have an influence on policy for healthcare, learn new skills, and meet new people from different backgrounds.

Closing date for responses: 31st of May 2024
