Biography
Fr Coyle is a Catholic Priest of the Diocese of Motherwell. He is the Coordinator of Spiritual and Pastoral Formation in the St Andrew's Foundation within the School of Education.
He worked as a Horticulturalist for Glasgow City Council.
He gained a Diploma in Practical Horticulture from the Royal Horticultural Society at their garden, Wisely in Surrey.
He studied Botany at the University of Reading, and then pursued a Post Graduate Degree Taxonomy and Biodiversity of plants at the University of Edinburgh.
He studied both Philosophy and Theology at the Pontifical University of St Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum) in Rome, gaining a STB in Sacred Theology.
He was ordained as Catholic Priest by Bishop Joseph Toal of the Diocese of Motherwell in 2019.
He was the assistant priest at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, East Kilbride, and he has served as Parish Priest of St Mark's and St Anthony's Catholic Church Rutherglen.
He is also currently the Bishop of Motherwell's representative on both the Interfaih and Ecumencial commission for the Bishops Conference of Scotland.
