We are very pleased to feature the entry of one of our PhD students, Nic Dickson, amongst Universitas 21’s RISE 2020/21 Showcase and awards, and we invite members of the RTG and others that read this posting to pledge their support for her excellent work by following this link. Her 4 minute video introduces a ‘principles of practice’ interactive guide for academics and practitioners, outlining the methods and mechanisms available to enhance marginalised learners’ engagement in adult learning. By identifying and communicating the barriers and enablers to adult education, she argues that we can promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. The pledge of support can be offered as mentoring, knowledge sharing and international connection.
