Mr Greg Wilkie is presented with the Craig McWhirter Prize by Dr Christine Goodall, Lead for Dental School Admissions

Mcwhirter Prize awarded

The Craig McWhirter Prize was established by Ian and Liz McWhirter in memory of their son Craig, an anatomy graduate of this University who had been accepted to join the BDS programme but who sadly died before he could take up his place. The prize is awarded each year to the graduate entrant to the BDS programme who achieves the highest overall ranking across the various elements of the selection process.

This year’s winner is Greg Wilkie and it is particularly fitting that Greg, like Craig, is an anatomy graduate of the University of Glasgow. He was presented with his prize by Professor Jeremy Bagg, Head of the Dental School and Dr Christine Goodall, Lead for Dental School Admissions.
