Georgian Glasgow

These webpages aim to offer an entry-point to the key men and women from the Georgian era (1714-1837) in Glasgow. From well-known figures of the Scottish Enlightenment like Francis Hutcheson to the forgotten poets of the early nineteenth century such as Dugald Moore, Glasgow played host to a diverse cast of people.
