Beginning 31 May, over five consecutive days, the BBC Radio 4 series ‘Ladder to Somewhere’ will feature Mark Banks in three episodes, in conversation with award-winning documentary maker and one of his ex-students, Liza Ward.
Beginning 31 May, over five consecutive days, the BBC Radio 4 series ‘Ladder to Somewhere’ will feature Mark Banks in three episodes, in conversation with award-winning documentary maker and one of his ex-students, Liza Ward. Mark will be discussing issues of working class educational opportunity, inequality and exclusion and recalling Liza’s often difficult and turbulent times spent trying to complete her education in Manchester in the 1990s.
