For the second year running, Dr Lynn Whitaker has been invited to take part in the consultation for Ofcom's Children and Parents Media Use and Attitude Report, in order to feed her research perspective into the 2016 questions around children's online games and spending. Last year questions were added and modified on the basis of Lynn's ongoing research into children's IAP, currently funded by the RSE (and previously by Carnegie Trust). The meeting takes place in London on Wednesday 20th January and builds on Lynn's recent presentation to Ofcom at the launch of the 2015 Report in November.
