A CCPR team went to the 8th International Conference on Cultural Policy Research, held at Hildesheim in Germany on 9-12 September. Philip Schlesinger, Melanie Selfe and Ealasaid Munro presented methodological reflections on their current AHRC-funded study. Their paper, 'Researching a moving target: a study of Scotland’s Cultural Enterprise Office', addressed the challenges of doing a team ethnography when the research is framed by the imperatives of knowledge exchange.
