On Thursday 20th March, Dr Lynn Whitaker, Lecturer in Cultural Policy and Cultural Industries, is taking part in Renfrewshire Council's open day on child protection services.  Lynn is presenting her Carnegie-funded research on children's online spending in 'free to play' video games which she conducted as an adjunct to the Office of Fair Trading's investigation into the same issue. She is also promoting the Children's Media Yearbook, which she edits, and is looking to expand her networks for school-based research with children. Later that evening, Lynn, as a newly elected FRSA, is taking part in a new fellows networking event hosted by the RSA in Edinburgh. Lynn recently took part in an RSA consultation on the broadcasting and culture aspects of the SNP's white paper.
