CCPR was at the heart of CREATE's workshop on research into creative work.

CCPR was at the heart of CREATE's workshop on research into creative work. Convened and chaired by Philip Schlesinger, this capacity building event brought together researchers from throughout the CREATe consortium (and beyond) to discuss research methods - and their various challenges - in the volatile fields that make up the 'creative' world. Fashion and music, as well economic and organisational analysis were at the heart of the discussion, which was attended by researchers ranging from PhD candidates to senior figures. Gillian Doyle responded to a paper by cultural economics doyenne Ruth Towse. Melanie Selfe, Ealasaid Munro and Philip reflected on CCPR's current ethnographic research on Cultural Enterprise Office.
