CCPR has been awarded a grant of £317,000 by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) to carry out research on the history of the UK Film Council, to examine its effectiveness as a model of public support for film and also to analyse the policy implications of its closure for film in the digital era.   The project on which Gillian Doyle is Principal Investigator and Philip Schlesinger and Raymond Boyle are Co-Investigators will take place over a two-year period starting in Autumn 2012.
